My father and I eat lunch here every Friday and the food and service is always great. The manager is a real live wire and makes us feel very welcome. He has redecorated a lot of the club recently to bring it into the 21st century. The staff are attentive and very friendly

The food is always good. portion sizes are just right for lunch and very well priced - much better than local pubs. Beers are cheap too! It's relatively quiet as its Burnie's best kept secret - anyone can go there but a lot of people think you have to be an old soldier to get in.

    Good food
